Time

Time, can go by fast or slow. We can't believe how long some things take while other things seem to flash by our eyes before we know it. Time, is both a friend and enemy. Time, seems to be more socialistic because everyone has the same amount of time,. You can spend time, and you can save time, (at least in a figure of speech). Time, can be invested or wasted. The Bible says that there is a time, for everything (Ecceliastes 3:1-8). The Bible also teaches us that God has set eternity in our hearts - now that is a long chunk of time,. Most people wish they had more time,. If you have time,, let me share with you just 2 passages from the Bible that teach us about using time,. Here they come, one at a time,... 1.) Ephesians 5:15-17 15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of your time,, because the days are evil. 17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 2.) 1 Peter 1:1-3 1 Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 so as to live the rest of the time, in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 3 For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries. Do you have time, for 3 short comments on these passages? 1. Time, is to be spent/invested wisely in ways that will bring glory and honor to Jesus. 2. Time, is to be weighed in how it is carrying out the will of God. 3. Time, can easily be spent foolishly. Well, my time, is up and it is time, for you to get going - spend your time, wisely :-)

  1. this is a good word, ed. yup, time marches by so quickly. how sad it is for some people in their last chapter in life to look back and regret not loving and serving the people god has placed in his life.

best not to live with regret if possible. everyone will have some, but i'd like to keep it to a minimum.

the funny thing about time is that the good times past by so fast while the sad/difficult times past by sooooo slow.
